Rather than have a wedding party table, we elected to have a table to ourselves so our wedding party could sit with their families too.
The reception introduction of the brides mother, Kathleen "Kitty" Moore escorted by her son, groomsman Mark Moore.
The introduction of the grooms parents played by Jean and Ron Hough. After the wedding we will be moving back home with them ... (just kidding Mom)
Introducing bridesmaid Paige Quigley and groomsman Tim Quigley
Introducing the Maid-of-Honor, Courtney Swiger and groomsman Lance Taylor ...
and skipping the matron-of-honor and best man (blame it on a slow camera) ... we now have the bride and groom, Mr. & Mrs. Tim Fitz-Gerald ....
EV-RE-BODY DANCE NOW!!! After our first dance that is ... sorry we're about 30 minutes behind schedule and out of hor'derves ...
Here are the "cakes". We really wanted to make sure everyone had a "full" piece of cake and a little bit of choice so we selected three flavors.
The best man comes through ... with a toast ... Phil has always been good at dropping pearls (pearls of wisdom).
The grooms toast, videotaped. People say you forget what happened on your wedding day and that's not true. Rewind please and play again!
The groom - what a mug shot, not to be out done ....
the bride gets to have her mug shot too!
These two are oblivious to their surrounding (except for that incessant clinking of the glasses requesting a bridal kiss).
Courtney Swiger, our bridesmaid, holding our ring bearer and her son, Skylar Swiger.
What a cute couple they'll make for the next 18 years.
Cut that cake. Which one? You decide. No, you decide. Well, which flavor do you want first? Let's cut the big one. OK, which layer's first?
The first cake feeding ...
and honey you have a little bit there ... and a little bit there too.
Is this showing the rings or hiding the flowers?
The brides bling-bling is much nicer anyway.
Thank goodness these two only have to show the rings this way once, they'll never get it down right!
The grooms ring - .25ct diamonds in a Pt. channel cut setting and his wedding gift ring which is a claddagh ring from Galway Ireland.
Trudy Stoner battles with Courtney Swiger over the bridal bouquet. Courtney throws an elbow in her ribs (just kidding) and wins.
Mark Moore uses his superior reach to snag the garter away from Jason. But because "Uncle" Mark can't put the garter on his niece, we DQ'd him!!!
The garter catcher was blindfolded and then the groom took Courtney's place as the bouquet catcher ...
this was priceless. I could see Jason just shake his head as he touched my unshaved leg ... he knew he'd been setup ... and he was!
Afterwards he was allowed to place the real garter on ... we still haven't found it so it appears we will have many years of happiness ahead of us.
Debbie's sisters, brother and mother get together for a family picture.
The dance was to "Unchained Melody" with bubbles being blown onto the dance floor.
The grooms flavor on the left was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry puree, the brides cake on the right was strawberry-lemon cake with vanilla custard (I think) and the center cake was tropical fruit filling with Italian Custard - - - yum - lot's of leftovers!
Phil's last wedding, which he attended in south Florida the previous weekend, was called off by the groom 3 hours before the ceremony. He told me if I did the same, then he would consider himself an unfortunate person to invite to any future weddings .... no fear Phil, it would've never happened!
That's pretty much how it went ... I'll have to check the video to make sure, but it was pretty funny.
A .60ct collection of 12 "F" Ideal Cut Diamonds in a Pt channel cut setting. The engagement ring is a "G" Ideal Cut "000" Hearts & Arrow diamond of 1.016ct surrounded by .50ct of 10 "F-G" Ideal Cut diamonds in a channel setting. It will be hawked to pay for the wedding and Tim will be killed for even thinking about it, so this isn't being written by Tim ... It's Jim (who has a sister named Sam ... no relation to Pam of course).
He was disqualified because of what we had planned next ...
Seated is Mark Moore and from the left is sister (Matron-of-Honor) Gloria Quigley, sister Kathy Green, mother Kathleen "Kitty" Moore, Debbie Fitz-Gerald and her sister Tena Amara.
